Black & White Filters

Yellow Y2 Filter

Popular filter for use with black and white films to render grey tones most nearly as the eye perceives they should be and add slight contrast to scenic pictures. Creates an overall yellow tint when used with color films.

Polarizing Filters

Circular Polarizer Filter
Eliminates reflections from non-metallic surfaces as water or glass and darkens blue skies. A circular polarizer filter is specially designed to maintain proper camera operations with autofocus and contemporary metering systems.

Polarizer Filter

Popular filter for reducing or eliminating reflections from nonmetallic surfaces and darkening skies to accentuate clouds. The standard polarizer is for use on older non-autofocus cameras with averaging TTL metering or without meter.

Wide Circular Polarizer Filter
Reduces or eliminates reflections from nonmetallic surfaces and darkens blue skies. The circular polarizer filter has a thinner casing (5mm) to reduce the potential for vignetting when used with ultra wide angle lenses. Circular polarizers are designed for use with autofocus and contemporary metering systems.

ND 2X Filter

Decreases the amount of light entering the camera lens for these reasons:

Cross Screen 4X Filter
Adds a pleasing four point star effect to bright point light sources. Excellent for street lights, daytime sun or sun reflections or candles at weddings or other celebrations.

Cross Screen 8X Filter

Provides an 8 point star effect to bright point light sources. The additional points create a smaller star which is less pronounced and can provide a pleasing star effect that is less distracting than a 4 point star.

Gives an overall soft focus effect which is used to create a pleasing effect in commercial and portrait photography.

Soft Spot Filter
This filter has a diffused edge with a clear center so any subject placed in the center area will stand out more. The amount of area softened at the edges varies with the aperture used and the focal length of the lens.

This set of three filters is used to focus much closer than normal. There is a +1, +2, and +4 filter (or +3 available) in the set. They can be used individually or in any combination to get even closer.

UV Cutting Filters

Multicoated Skylight 1A Filter

Multicoated lenses and filters provide an ideal combination for the highest light transmission and least internal flare. The 1A filter provides excellent lens protection while absorbing UV rays and reducing the bluish cast that often appears in outdoor photography.
