Learn to use the power and flexibility of this Industry Standard photo and graphic editing program. Using the non-destructive approach you will see how much easier and faster your editing skills will grow. This method of editing is not only faster but also makes it easier to experiment with new approaches and effects. With five, three hour sessions; all hands on, this fifteen hour total class will have you feeling more confident and proficient.
For this class you'll need to bring to each session a mac or pc computer with one of the recent pro versions of Photoshop loaded. If you haven't yet decided on a pro version you can download a 30-day trial from Adobe. The last session will be a chance to use what you've learned, on your photos and projects with help from the instructor.
Wayne Jarvis has over 40 years of photographic experience; 20 years digital editing experience and over 15 years classroom experience. Wayne showed interest in photography from an early age. He has shot with a variety of equipment including large format view cameras, medium format, 35mm SLR and over 10 years shooting in digital. In addition to the depth of his photographic experience, Wayne also has comparably wide computer experience.
A long time popular classroom instructor, Wayne continues to receive high survey marks. He has taught in a variety of venues. Over the years he has developed and taught a wide range of photo and computer classes.
Wayne has been involved in digital image editing practically from its inception. He tried numerous programs, landing on and ultimately staying with Photoshop as it became the industry standard. He has used numerous versions of Photoshop and Photoshop Elements as well as various other Adobe products.
